In this captivating and refreshing tale, a bear family live in a den brimming with possessions and supplies. One fateful morning, the bears discover all their honey pots are empty, prompting them to trek off in search of more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the bear\u2019s den captures the attention of a curious, bold and intrepid young girl. Seeing the unlocked door as an invitation to explore, she enters the den, frog in hand. She follows her nose to the kitchen, where the irresistible aroma of porridge drifts through the air. Presented with three bowls, she tries each one, the first was too hot, the second too cold and the third is perfect. She makes herself at home with a carefree, haphazard enthusiasm and is unbothered by the chaos she creates. Her curiosity leads her from room to room, leaving a trail of mishaps in her wake. Overcome with tiredness, she nestles into a snug and cosy bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out in the woods, the bears are on a mission, determined to get their fill of honey. They devour the hive\u2019s honey with greedy abandon, leaving nothing behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon returning to the den, the bears ae confronted with quite the scene. Following the trail of destruction they reach the smallest bear\u2019s bed, only to discover a stranger, peacefully asleep. The quick-thinking girl, full of bravado, teaches the bears a lesson in manners and kindness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The upbeat rhythm and rhyme, utterly engaging storyline, witty puns and humour paired with the expressive and detailed illustrations make this story a delight to read aloud.
